On the below photoserie, buildings of Main Square (near to Szentlelek Square, 3rd district) can be seen. The tourists can see many statues on the Main Square. The actor, Zoltan Latinovits' statue (5th photo) can be found in front of the Event Hall (4th photo). 'Women with umbrellas' statue group (7th photo) is a masterpiece of Imre Varga, who has many sculptures throughout Europe and he has almost the same sculpture group in Los Angeles with 2 women. Pal Harrer's statue (13th photo) can be watched at the corner of Main Square. He was the first mayor of Obuda. Holy Trinity statue (9th photo) can be found near to Szentlelek Square. On the 1st photo, the street can be seen towards the Main Square. There are many buildings on the Main Square, City Hall (3rd photo), Sipos Restaurant (6th photo). The tourists can see the Tower of Saint Peter and Paul Church (2nd photo), which is over the Arpad Bridge. When we go towards the Szentlelek Square, there is Zichy Castle (12th photo), Obuda University former building (10th photo), table of the university (11th photo) and Vasarely Museum (8th photo). Interestingly, the Obuda University was established in 1395, which was the first university in Budapest.













On the below photoserie, buildings can be seen from Arpad Bridge. On the 1st and 4th photo, the Tower of Saint Peter and Paul Church can be watched. If the tourists go up to the Arpad Bridge, they can see the Water Tower of Margaret Island and the end of Hajogyari Island (2nd photo). Besides, Verdi Aquincum Hotel can be admired from the bridge also (3rd photo).




On the below photoserie, Obuda buildings can be seen on the south side of Arpad Bridge. Back of the Verdi Aquincum Hotel can be admired on 2nd and 3rd photo. Synagogue of Obuda (4th photo) is the Budapest's oldest, still operating Jewish prayer house. If we continue the walk, we will go to the back of Saint Peter and Paul Church (5th photo) with the 1st World War Memorial (6th photo). At the end of the tour, the tourists can watch the Millencentennial Monument, which was established in 1996 because of the 1100th anniversary of Hungarian Settlement.







On the below photo serie, ruins of gate and city wall from ancient Roman Empire can be seen near to Szentlelek Square (Budapest, 3rd district). This gate belonged to Roman military building's main gate. Approximately 6000 soldiers were stationed here. This gate for carriage traffic was allocated. Behind the gate was the command building. The gate was built in AD 3. century second half. The ruins of the gate and the wall were reconstructed in 1970s.








On the below photo serie, ruins from ancient Roman Empire can be seen in the Florian Square underpass (Budapest, 3rd district). Behind the glass, ruins of roman bath can be found (2nd, 3rd and 9th photo). If the tourists walk through the underpass, they will see other Roman tables, columns and etc (from 4th to 8th photos). When you come out of the underpass, you can see a fountain (10th photo).










On the below photo serie, ruins from the ancient Roman Empire can be seen on the south side of Vorosvari Road (Budapest, 3rd district). These ruins belonged to Legio Camp, 50 000 people lived here.









On the below photo serie, house of a Centurion's ruins can be seen on the north side of Vorosvari Road (Budapest, 3rd district). These ruins belonged to commanding officers (centurions). The building had several rooms with a central, colonnaded open courtyard and basin for collecting rainwater.





In the next section, photos about buildings of Budapest can be seen. 1st photo was made near to Heroes Square during sunset. 2nd photo is the gate of Vajdahunyad Burg in City Park. 3rd photo is the spikes of Tüskecsarnok-Arena.



In the next section, photos about Tihany can be seen. 1st photo is a Paprika House, where traditionally paprika processing is introduced. 2nd photo is the Altar of Tihany Abbey. 3rd photo is the Tihany Abbey from outside.
